Digital Assistant for Higher Education (Renee)

Learn more about Renee

Note: You can explore Renee's ability by clicking on the Ask Renee icon in the lower right corner of this page

Our vision is to build practical and affordable AI for the global higher education market to improve the student experience and enrich the institution.
Renee is a new user interface that uses natural language to provide information or perform tasks on behalf of the user interacting with the artificial intelligence. In the first release, Renee will answer institution specific questions that we have trained her to understand. Each institution will be able to provide their own unique answers to the questions she has learned. Because we are releasing Renee on the Microsoft Dynamics platform, Renee will be able to detect who she is talking to and update their timeline with the chat log of the conversation. She will be able to detect the sentiment of the conversation and if she detects that the person needs to engage with an advisor on campus will open up a case on behalf of that person so that the appropriate human can intervene.
Below is the list of Questions that Renee will be able to answer for Release 1.0. You can access the complete list of Question and Answer Pairs which contain the default Responses and additional Utterances for each question at: Question and Answer Pairs

You can play with the sample BOT on this page and ask the list of Questions to get a feel for the default answer that will be sent by Renee. When an institution implements Digital Assistant (Renee), users can update the default answer for each question by providing more specific answers as they relate to the institution. Please provide feedback on the feedback form for any new questions that you feel should be added to the cognitive model.
